Symptoms Explained.

NITROGEN (N) Pale plants, red stems, smaller growth. Rapid yellowing of lower leaves progressing up the plant. Add any chemical fertilizer containing N. Treated plants recover in about a week.	IRON (Fe) Leaves on growing shoots turn pale and veins remain dark green. pH imbalances make iron insoluble. Foliar feed with chemical fertilizer containing Fe or rusty water.
PHOSPHORUS (P) Slow or stunted growth, red stems. Smaller leaves that are dark green. Lower leaves yellow and die. Add chemical fertilizer containing P. Affected leaves will not show recovery but new growth will appear normal.	MANGANESE (Mn) Necrotic and yellow spots form on top leaves. Mn deficiency occurs when large amounts of Mg are present in the soil. Foliar feed with any chemical fertilizer containing Mn.
POTASSIUM (K) Affected plants are usually tallest and appear to be most vigorous. Necrotic spots form on lower leaves. Red stems. Leaves appear pale or yellow. Add chemical fertilizer containing K.	BORON (B) Growing shoots turn grey or die. Growing shoots appear burnt. Treat with one teaspoon of Boric acid (sold as eyewash) per gallon of water.
CALCIUM (Ca) Lack of calcium in the soil results in the soil becoming too acid. This leads to Mg or Fe deficiency or very slow stunted growth. Treat by foliar feeding with one teaspoon of diplomatic lime per quart of water until condition improves.	MOLYBDENUM (Mb) Yellowing of middle leaves. Foliar feed with chemical fertilizer containing Mb.
SULFER (S) Plants suffering from S deficiencies exhibit yellowing of new growth. Mix one tablespoon of Epsom salts per gallon of water until condition improves.	ZINC (Zn) White areas form at leaf tips and between veins. Occurs in alkaline soils. Zn deficiency can be treated by burying galvanized nails in the soil. Chemical fertilizer containing Zn can also be used.
MAGNESIUM (Mg) : Lower leaves yellow and may even turn white while veins remain dark green. Blades die and curl upward.	OVER FERTILIZATION : Causes leaf tips to appear yellow or burnt. To correct soil should be flushed with three gallons of water per one gallon of soil.

Important note: When following nutrient instructions / recommended mixing directions always take into consideration additives you will be using, as some additives can increase / change the ppm levels of your mixtures. "Make no mistake, utilizing the right additives could be a blessing!"

MIRACLE GRO - Miracle or not!

What is the difference between Miracle-Gro and other commercially available hydroponics nutrients that are mostly sold at Hydroponic store locations?
Most of the fertilizers readily available at most corner stores, are very general purpose mixes that do not work well for all types of plants. The nutrients that MMAD Hydroponics stock, are custom made specifically for plants grown in hydroponics systems that utilize sterile growing mediums such as our sunshine mixes.

There are a lot of commercially available fertilizers that are meant for fertilizing plants grown in outdoor soils that do not contain all the necessary trace elements needed for healthy vigorous growth. Our fertilizers contain all those trace elements, in addition to; are also made to be very soluble so that the plants can easily uptake the nutrients from the watering solution.
Note: Although some of those "other" commercially available fertilizers will work "with limited results" to grow plants but they cannot compare to the results you will experience with nutrients that contain all the trace elements.
Not to sound arrogant, be we simply believe that: There are a lot of commercially available fertilizers that are like junk food for your plants, and some of them actually give your plants a quick little bump, but this does not last very long!
"Don't agree with me, do a little test with the latter on a few tester plants and see for yourself!" We did and now we believe...... :-)

Importanct of CBD - THC VERSUS CBD! Know the difference.

General info: Cannabis, Marijuana and Hemp are one in the same..

Cannabis and Marijuana are now normally referred to as the psychoactive varieties of the plant that get people stoned, and hemp is commonly referred to as a material/seed obtained from the plant, which are used to make useful products.

Different strains have different amounts of the chemicals in them, which can cause a different type of high (a factor that plays heavily here is also the way in which the plant is grown**). High potency from marijuana, (cannabis & hemp), depends solely on the percentage of total cannabinoids in the plant matter (flowers/leaves). For instance, you could extract all the trichome crystals from 1/4oz (7g) of marijuana that has a very low total cannabinoid content. You may only end up with around 1-2g of product, but, if you vaporised aaround 0.5g the high would be very intense... the same high could also be obtained from vaporising 0.5g (including flowers/leaves) of a quality strain grown in optimum conditions.

(to obtain a total, accurate, cannabinoid percentage you need to weigh a set amount with an analytical balance, then vaporise the amount at a specific temperature; so as to evaporate the trichome crystals and leave the flower and leaf matter as intact as possible; and then weigh the remnants. The THC percentage will be the amount in weight that was evaporated, ie if a 1g sample after vaporising weighs 0.78g the THC content would be 22%)

**Almost any strain cultivated in an optimum environment would result in a higher percentage of THC. To go one step further, one could maintain a strict formula/regimen during certain growth periods of the plants life to enable extraordinary development of certain characteristics, ie larger flowers (although this may not necessarily result in a higher end percentage of THC).
